The latest indiepop gem from Totoake’s bedroom studio in California, “Can’t You See” is an exuberant blast that never loses a step.
The verse, ably carried by a bouncing bass line and a minimal lead guitar, crashes perfectly into a wall of distortion to signal the arrival of the chorus, where staccato vocals maintain the sunshiny vibes that make this such a fun listen.
“Can’t You See”, the final song on Totoake’s self-titled debut EP, and is not just a good time, it’s a sign of good things to come.
