We first talked about Torgny back in October via our sister site Ja Ja Ja when revealing the stunning ‘Dying Hipster‘. Returning with a new EP entitled Trilogy, the Norwegian experimental dance artist reveals ‘Big Day’ – the EP’s lead track. Trilogy is a collection of three original songs and three remixes. Each of the the tracks are to be accompanied by a video courtesy of award-winning director Emil Trier, with the whole series themed as a depiction of Norwegian youth culture.
‘Big Day’ is a brooding beast that demands repeated listens. Claustrophic in tone, subtle in execution – another fine example of the sheer magnitude of talent that’s emerging from Norway right now.
