Torches’ new track is described on their Soundcloud by the genre tag ‘Sad Gaze Pummel Stomp’. As silly and tongue-in-cheek as this may be, they do have a point. Such is the emotional intensity of this new track, you’re not quite sure whether to gently sob over lovers past or stand up, slam the door behind you and head to the nearest bar to toast all the inevitable neverending heartbreaks that await you while surrounded by your closest friends.
Stream/download ‘Twenty & Two Zeros’ below, and an additional FOE remix of ‘Silent Film’ beneath that:
Order the band’s new single ‘Sky Blue & Ivory’ / ‘Silent Film’, out now on Fractions Of One.
