Oslo based label Splendour continue their steady rise of becoming a genuine force within the Scandinavian market with their latest signing. Gaining critical success with 120 Days, Siinai and Maribel, the Norwegian indie today announced that Danish trio Thulebasen will release ‘Forever Grinning’ as a 12″ single, featuring remixes from Gala Drop and Eric Copeland. Akin to Sonic Youth’s poppier moments, ‘Forever Grinning’ propels itself towards the skies with a steady force – all off-kilter guitar lines, sporadic bass rumblings and… seagulls. More please.
