Listen: The Twilight Sad – Kill It In The Morning
Appropriately brooding Scotch miserablists The Twilight Sad are back with a new track from their forthcoming third record and a slight change of direction, with their sound taking somewhat of an industrial turn in the road.
We’re told that the new album, due early next year, will see a “sonic shift” for the four-piece, with a more “keyboard/programming-driven approach” yet all the while keeping their dark, sombre core a constant like Glaswegian rain.
And this track at the very least seems to reflect this, sounding like the reverse pathetic fallacy of a winter’s night spent in the highlands.
