Having described their own six-hour epic as “The Velvet Underground meets Super Mario Brothers”, The Flaming Lips have revealed their marathon song ‘I Found This Star on the Ground’. The fan message board Slow Nerve Action has split up the swirling intensity of the track into ever-so-slightly more manageable two-hour instalments that you can listen to below.
