Teengirl Fantasy’s new track ‘Motif’ spirals and unwinds, seemingly neverending like a light-headed daydream in the sun. The seven minute duration sees rippling melodies dip in and out, awashed with distant echoes, and jittering drumbeats scattered about; culminating in nothing short of an epic. Then, suddenly, it stops, and – all disorientated – you wonder how longer exactly you’ve been knocked out for.
The track is out 9 July via R&S Records, while their new album is to be released later on in 2012.
