Mutated vocal samples jut out over youngster Jessica Sophie’s classy verses on London bass producer TÂCHES’ latest drop, ‘Hide From You’.

Available as a free download via Facebook – all you need to do is click the player below – the track taps into Mount Kimbie’s penchant for haunting post-dub; muffled hi-hats, wobbly bass and starry idiophones all flicker in time with Sophie’s RnB diva warble.

Hannah Reid’s spooky turn on Disclosure’s Settle springs to mind although there’s an even dingier ambience shrouding ‘Hide From You’, one we’re keen to peer into more often should TÂCHES allow it.
