Londoner George Cassavetes aka Stay Bless released his debut EP Faded at the beginning of the week, a four-tracker documenting the fracturing relationships and self-doubt that dogged the writing and recording process.

We’ve already basked in the Streisand-nodding power ballad, ‘Always’, in which George strips naked during the accompanying promo clip, now he’s streaming the title-track – via Dazed Digital – and it’s something of a super-collab, if ever there was such a thing.

‘Faded’ features Blood Orange man and Solange Knowles co-conspirator, Dev Hynes’ wiry guitar licks, streaking across new girlfriend, Friends vocalist Samantha Urbani’s hazier-than-sea-fret coos. A paean to lost love has scarcely sounded so delicately impassioned and hopeful.
