Listen: Spring King – Better Man [Premiere]

A few months have passed since we first heard North West collective Spring King and their reverb drenched garage-rock belter ‘Let’s Ride’.

The tune was backed up by band leader and producer, Tarek Musa’s casual boast of another fifty tracks recorded and raring for release, of which the hazy ‘Avocado City‘ and the demented ‘V-V-V-Vampire‘ have already emerged.

‘Better Man’ is the latest to get an airing, and the first from their forthcoming debut demo tape, its sinewy rhythm section propelled by rasping rim thwacks, chiming guitars and Tarek’s million-miles-a-minute vocal delivery. Listen to whilst stripping off ahead of a bracing dash through the surf, or swigging cheap lager watching the clouds roll by. Devilishly good fun.
