Sometimes life calls for some enjoyable silliness. On those occasions, you could do much worse than to reach for Snake & Jet’s Amazing Bullit Band. ‘Stalker’, taken from their forthcoming album Stuff That Rotates, is a fuzzy homage to late-’60s-early-’70s rock and roll. It’s delightfully scrappy, it’s played with tongue firmly in cheek, and there’s a Ron Burgundy-esque flute flutter. WHAT MORE DO YOU PEOPLE WANT.
Stuff That Rotates is out on Crunchy Frog on 28 May. The band play the Camden Wheelbarrow on 10 May.
