Making names for themselves through their guest appearances on two of bass music’s biggest records in recent years, Sampha on SBTRKT’s 2011 s/t, and Koreless on Jacques Greene’s Concealer, the blossoming pair have now joined forces, awakening fans with a complicated, sultry new project.
Melding two unique sounds into one luscious succession of drum pattern beats, vocal harmonies, soul-stricken keyboard notes and xylaphone twinkles, Short Stories have won over our hearts in a matter of minutes with this, their debut single.
Short Stories - On The Way/Let It Out 12″ is out January 28th via Young Turks.
