With the release of a limited edition David Lynch boxset out this week, there are many among us who will take any good reason to re-visit the amazing, the brilliant, the superlative-warranting Twin Peaks.
But let’s not flick on the series again right now or we won’t leave the house again all weekend. Instead, just kick back with a cup of David Lynch’s “damn fine” coffee and check out this cover of the ‘Rockin’ Back Inside My Heart’ (taken from the TP soundtrack) by New Zealand shoegazers She’s So Rad.
The band have taken the Julee Cruise original and expanded it to the point of shattering. It’s distorted, woozy and makes us feel a bit like we’re in the red room or Black Lodge.
