As a summer of fun and chaotic experiences begins to wind down, you’d probably like to prolong the high for as long as possible. Well Canadian band Seoul provide just the right track to stop time momentarily; their lightly floating debut song, ‘Stay With Us’.
Self-described as an ‘ambient-pop aggregate’ from Montreal, Seoul are still relatively mysterious, all they offer up about their music is that it is ‘blue, breathless, gentle and absolute’. It’s the perfect way to describe ‘Stay With Us’ which features lofty, filtered vocals over a beautiful guitar-laden instrumental, filled with synths. Seoul have proved early in the game that they can capture the chilled feelings of those few summer nights we have left to savour.
