Savages have unleashed a new track alongside details of their forthcoming debut Silence Yourself to be released via Matador and Pop Noire on 7th May.
The 11-track LP was recorded during a three week period in December 2012 and opens with an excerpt from the John Cassavetes film, Opening Night, foreshadowed by the elegantly written album theme description printed on the artwork.
‘She Will’ further exhalts the quartet as today’s purveyors of industrial sounding post-punk. The distinguished vocals of Jehnny Beth shriek out alongside a dark and ferocious collision of instruments. Listen below.
The band will be playing at Coachella next month before returning to Europe on tour in May.
