The male/female duo is in truly rude health at the moment. First came Brighton’s GAPS, closely followed by the simply mesmerizing Post Louis, now it’s the turn of Floridian pair Sæs to melt your heart with their even woozier take on The xx’s nocturnal pop.

Comprised of Orlando residents J and M – Jennifer and Michael according to the wonderful Crack In The Road - Sæs just dropped a brace of silky, downtempo electronica tracks ‘Alcanzame’ and ‘Passed Out (It’s Night Time)’ over at SoundCloud.

Cawing birds and measured acoustic plucks thrum in unison to flickering programmed beats on the latter while ‘Alcanzame’ makes use of mandolins, tick-tocking hi hats and pooling synths; Jennifer and Michael allowing their chiming, low mixed vocals to blend as one irresistible element. Nothing short of magical.
