Listen: S. Maharba – Afternoon (Young Montana? Remix)

One of LA’s favorite underground music outlets, BTS Radio recently announced they will be releasing a remix collection around elusive London producer, S. Maharba’s 2008 debut 12″, ‘Afternoon’. Known for creating textural ambiance through his use of fragmented samples, painstakingly methodical distortion effects and creative production techniques fusing elements of jazz, soul, hip hop and electronic, S. Maharba’s sparse releases have become cult favorites by music insiders and fans alike.

The ‘Afternoon’ reworks will appear on S.Maharba: Remixed, which is out digitally on 19 February.
