Washington D.C. native Imad-Roy El-Amine - AKA producer Royal - has just dropped a brand new track/free download called "Passenger".
With synths gently sparkling like a mug of Dom Perignon, Royal crafts a fizzy bath bomb tune in the form of "Passenger". It slowly builds up with cooing 'ahhs' in the background, before El-Amine's R&B-pop vox drift over the top. It's sweet, optimistic, and eschews the enigmaticism of cloak'n'dagger knob twiddlers of late. It's refreshingly warm.
The ditty follows "Round Two", featuring the talents of rapper Desktop, and will feature on Royal's upcoming Cycle EP.
