Singaporean quintet Riot !n Magenta have lifted the lid on new cut "Voices", the title track from their upcoming EP.
Soaked in The xx-style reverb and golden R&B hallmarks, Riot !n Magenta's brand of synthpop manages to be simultaneously unsettling and heartwarming. Eugenia Yip's vox glisten across the spiky constructs that are formed from synths, guitars and finger-snaps, and the contrast of slick and crickety is gorgeous, and ever-so-slightly reminiscent of Little Dragon's output.
Riot !n Magenta will release upcoming EP Voices on 23 March.
