When we caught London-based trio Rage On Gold at Bestival this year, we were very impressed - "It's ridiculous, infectious, wry pop. Studded with electro, hip-hop and soul influences, it's like Daphne & Celeste x Paloma Faith x CSS. But so, so much better."
Their track "Kick Flips" is ludicrous fun, and now they've taken it upon themselves to cover French house legends Cassius, and their song "The Sound Of Violence".
Tempered by Australian vocalist Paris Wells, a jazz-pop singer with similarities to Sia and Eliza Doolittle, the rampant dance beats are now slick, explosive pop-rock. It's still hella danceable, but in a vastly different way.
