Listen: Pure Bathing Culture – Pendulum (Woman's Hour Edit)
Pure Bathing Culture will release their debut album Moon Tides next week and here they smartly rope in fellow music blog buzz generators Woman’s Hour to remix latest single ‘Pendulum’.
It’s all as cool and graceful as you’d expect, with strobe like synths sharing the limelight with Sarah Versprille’s elegant vocals. While it’s almost completely different from the sauntering beach pop that made the original so special, in a way that has become Pure Bathing Culture’s signature, Woman’s Hour turn it into something that glistens.
Moon Tides is out on 19 August via Memphis Industries/Partisan while Pure Bathing Culture play live at The Waiting Room in Stoke Newington on 25 September.
