Newcastle trio Polarsets have aired one of the hottest tracks we’ve heard thus far this sweltering summer, in the form of ’Just Don’t Open Your Eyes Yet’.

Due for release on 1 September via POP unLTD, already home to one of our favourite emerging acts, D E N A, this re-recorded version has been preened to dance-floor melting perfection; Rob Howe’s sparkling, near-falsetto vocal bouncing off whirring guitar strokes, exotic synth riffs and punchy four to the floor beats. A blindingly bright exercise in viral sunburst pop.
