You might remember Yoofs, whose excellent ‘Hazy Days’ we posted a few weeks back. Yesterday the Bournemouth band were extolling on Facebook the virtues of their friends Playlounge, who clearly share their love of muddy distortion. ‘The Turtle, The Balloon And The Whale’ starts out sounding like Drunk Kid Catholic-era Bright Eyes, before bursting into glorious feedback.

Playlounge play the Cricketer’s in Kingston tonight, with Torches and Pins.
