Some song titles are brilliant, others are just stupid. This one, from Playlounge, is simply brilliantly stupid. Bright Eyes references are always a winner for me, but this number is worth listening to for more reasons than that.
The new track from the London noise-rock duo premiered on Radio 1 DJ and general nice-person-in-rock Jen Long’s BBC Introducing in Wales show last night. You can listen to it here, around the 1hr 19mins 20sec mark. It’s short but hardly sweet; perhaps a bit more raw than their cover of Keel Her, but losing none of the previous track’s intensity.
