Entwined delicately with synths that summon the sun, "Dead" peeks through the gaps between the blossoming trees as Phoebe Ryan reassures us with her soft voice.

Dominating synths trot through three and a half minutes of a pop-infused daydream. It showcases Ryan's soft vocals, featuring similar manipulations to that of Imogen Heap. With her heart set on redecorating the pop scene with glittering synths and whisper-like vocals, "Dead" falls head first into a creamy mixture of emotional turmoil, as well as contrasting the heartfelt lyrics with the reassuring charm that surrounds the synth melody.

Whilst Ryan's voice charges towards a playful, troubled teenager vibe, the maturity of the 24-year-old is reiterated through sleek production.
