Damu is right good. His excellent ‘Don’t Cry In My Bed’ was a Song Of The Day here a couple of weeks ago, while his LP Unity remains on pretty heavy rotation.

The producer’s rework of Wisconsin duo Peaking Lights‘ ‘Amazing And Wonderful’ is less melodic, less technicolour than much of what appears on Unity. Instead it’s a thudding, weighty track that bores lack a packdrill right into the back of your skull. Hard work, but in the very best possible sense.
