As we sit and wait patiently for new Echo Lake material to surface, the band’s guitarist and principal songwriter Thom Hill gets busy with Peaking Lights and flips ‘Marshmallow Yellow’ on its head. In traditional Echo Lake style, Hill swamps the psychedlic opus in an ocean of reverb thus in turn making the whole thing that little bit more hypnotic. Zen levels will increase ten fold upon repeated listens.
