It’s only Monday and we’re already premiering a track entitled ‘Blood’, the week can only go downhill from here surely. But don’t worry, the track in question isn’t as brooding as that sounds.

‘Blood’ is the new single forthcoming from Patterns. It’s too sunny-side-up to be deemed entirely shoegaze and yet more intricate than a dream-pop tag would do justice, the Manchester band instead balance ceremoniously in their own self-constructed limbo somewhere between the two.

The single, their second to date, is out out on Melodic come 9 July and is to be backed by a No Ceremony remix.
