Tom Vek’s collaborative project with American musician Olga Bell continues to gather pace with the arrival of ‘Oyster’, the other track off their debut AA-side release, out via Moshi Moshi on 5 August.
We’re already familiar with ‘Know Yourself‘s big bolshy hooks and yammering percussion, but ‘Oyster’ is fresh meat, bringing punctured beats and Vek’s lithe guitar-work to the fore alongside Dirty Projectors member Olga’s caramel sweet intonations. Enjoy this perfect indie-pop union while it lasts.
