When an artist’s album is delayed for an extended period of time, you think there’s something up. Perhaps label issues or management problems? Maybe the qualms are more personal than that though, suggestions of a lack of inspiration at hand.
With Niki & the Dove, you could never suggest it to be the latter. So many brilliant tracks dropping from the Swedish duo at the moment, it is less of having to fill an album up and more a case of the painstaking decision of which to use and which must they lose. If anything, it makes us even more excited to see what DID actually make it on their debut record.
