Former shoegazer, Neil Halstead embraces simplistic folk with this subtle re-recorded number from his latest record Palindrome Hunches.
With Mojave 3 on hiatus, the British songwriter, who fronted 90s genre-pioneers Slowdive, has unveiled a touching country-inspired track that feels as satisfying as it does heart-warming.
With its gentle melody, finger-picking chord structure and slide guitar, it brings Iron and Wine to mind, and highlights Halstead’s sentimental songwriting proficiency. ‘Spin The Bottle’ with this new piece of delightful folk below.
