Listen: Meanwhile - "Apples & Oranges"

Meanwhile's been wowing us for the past few months with a calculated drip-feed of new music. Often his tracks are rambunctious, exuberant explorations in soundtrack, funk and electro-pop, but "Apples & Oranges" is a decidedly subdued affair.
Replete with Prince-isms and the "hip-hop beats of DJ Shadow", this new cut showcases a subtler side to Meanwhile.
The track is taken from his debut EP The Element Yes, out now via Fiction..
