All the way from New Pork City come Los Porcos, the new project of WU LYF affiliates Tom, Joseph and Evans. Accompanied by members of FAMY and Profondo, the fleshed-out collective have just dropped their debut tracks, ‘Do You Wanna Live?’ and ’Jesus Luvs U Baby’. Fans of impossibly melodic, Cali college-rock prepare to rejoice.

Clocking in at six minutes long, ‘Do You Wanna Live?’ is arguably the more ambitious of the two cuts; funked up bass notes and skittering percussive clacks orbiting around a simple, sassy guitar motif. Whereas ‘Jesus Luvs U Baby’ cranks up the pheromones with its hazy 70′s disco atmospherics; a final slow dance with a tremulous guitar riff. The almost indecipherable lyrics, delivered in a sweet and airy manner make for a stirringly romanticized hook. Delightfully oddball, Los Porcos are going to make a huge impression whether they intended to, or not.
