Listen: Lo-Fi-Fnk - "Can U Feel It?"
Stockholm three-piece Lo-Fi-Fnk have unveiled new track "Can U Feel It? (feat. Duvchi)" from their so-far-untitled third LP, expected 2015.
Speaking to The FADER, the band's Leo Drougge said over email:
"I was kind of stuck... until one summer night at a cabin in the countryside with my genius friend Jens, aka, Duvchi. He switched the tempo down to half-time, and immediately we were back in the zone. From there, the song was completed really quick. It feels great now to finally let go of it, 100%"
The dreamy electro-pop track fizzes with palpable energy. There's a twang of trance, and the key stabs are distinctly '90s, but this is a chilled-out comedown cut, not something you'll rave to.
