Listen: LANKS - "Beach Houses" [Premiere]
Melbourne singer-songwriter LANKS - AKA Will Cuming - is streaming his new single "Beach Houses".
Mystical hip-hop and vinegary electro-indie merge on the track; it twinkles like a fluttery Pogo mix with woodwind chirrups and a hazy glint.
Speaking about the track, LANKS explained:
"I wrote Beach Houses at the end of last summer a week after I posted the first LANKS single, Rises and Falls. Beach Houses is all about the smooth cruisiness and vibes that go along with Summer and being at your beach house. It's also about how I can't afford a Beach House and maybe if I chose a more lucrative career than music I might have one."
