Listen: Kiings x Christine Hoberg – You Can't See Me
You mightn’t have heard of folky, Christine Hoberg, until ‘Clair De Lune‘, a track written and performed with Flight Facilities, propelled the Brooklyn-based artist into the spotlight around a month ago. Now she’s at it again, guesting on Milwaukee duo, Kiings’ new one, ‘You Can’t See Me’.
Layered over clanking industrial percussion and trembling synth squirts, Hoberg’s sneering whip smart delivery runs parallel to Tennessee vocalist Meg Myers and even Charli XCX’s gutsy, gothy caw. The follow up to Kiings’ February release, Warehouses Possessed by the City: A Wisconsin Remix EP, ‘You Can’t See Me’ is certain to bring these two Wisconsin-bred acts even further into the public eye.
