Listen: Kelpe – Answered (Microburst Remix)

London producer Kel McKeown aka Kelpe returned last week with the title cut from his forthcoming Answered maxi-single, out 15 April via Kelpe’s freshly minted imprint DRUT Records.

South coast electro marvel Microburst has put his own strangely intoxicating stamp on ‘Answered’. Smoky female vocal samples and minimalist percussive jabs weave and jolt in opposing directions; the off kilter tweaks striking a unique rapport with Kelpe’s organic blooms of guitar and vibrant bass.
