Independent electronic label, Push & Run unveils Jon Phonics’ new track, ‘Take It To The Top’ off their Tings in Boots compilation here on Best Fit.
This week marks the return of the London label Push & Run’s Tings in Boots compilation series. As a nod to the Ruff Sqwad white label classic of the same name, the first Tings in Boots featured new originals from emerging acts Ifan Dafydd, Pedestrian and Bodhi. This second crop of tracks features the best of the label’s roster a’la new bootlegs from Ifan Dafydd, Bodhi and Parisian, while welcoming quite a few new additions to the Push & Run family.
Among the newcomers, the master of electro funk edits, producer Jon Phonics offers a heavy new track, ‘Take It To The Top’ available exclusively here on Best Fit ahead of the compilation release. Jon Phonics offering adds a spaced out feel to funk and soul through digitized effects, slapping percussion and those infectious soulful words,’Take It To The Top’ on loop.
