Service remains one of Best Fit’s most treasured labels. The Swedish institution has been responsible for much of the sun-bleached Balearia that has come to define the slinky pop music that we hold so dear – and which Ikons so expertly craft.
Today we are happy to premiere a new version of ‘Polaroid Cocaine’, taken from Ikons’ second album Life Rhythm and reworked by Alexander Palmestål. It’s a beatific interpretation that draws out the calypso-esque rhythm of the original, beneath layers of vaporous synth.
Life Rhythm is out now on Service.
