Having recently collaborated with production duo Snakehips on the massively addictive ‘On & On’, London via Australia newcomer George Maple today releases a previously unheard track as part of Radio 1 DJ Annie Mac’s ‘Free Music Monday’ series.
A smooth and delicate ballad, Maple’s voice croons blissfully over tinkling piano and gentle jazz chords. A faint crackle of vinyl beds itself amongst the subtle instrumentation, giving a late-night feel to this understated gem.
George Maple plays her debut live show this Wednesday at Hoxton Bar & Kitchen, presented by SJM and Best Fit. Click on the flyer below for further information. Tickets are available here.
