Black Acre Records release this sublime dose of Chicago-style house from West Midlands based young upstart Fantastic Mr Fox (aka bedroom producer Stephen Gomberg). Cited as the leader of “the new breed of dub-step” by the likes of James Blake The xx and er.. Warpaint, though name-dropping is pointless here, Gomberg can more than carry his own – ‘Power’ an exquisite five-and-a-bit minutes of joyous IDM; propelled by an irresistible vocal sample and subtle sub bass that goes straight for the jugular.
