Listen: Euro League – Do You Believe Me Pt. 2
Euro League hails from hip-hop’s birthplace, the Bronx, and those soulful roots show on his latest effort, ‘Do You Believe Me Pt. 2′.
Cosigned by Kendrick Lamar - check out their freestyle video – Euro League speaks out about similar issues of neighborhood violence surrounding him in New York. ‘Do You Believe Me Pt. 2′ is refreshing for any hip-hop nerd who is a fan of storytelling and lyricism; similar skills that have pushed rappers like Joey Bada$$ towards the top more recently. Inphanyte and MP Williams sample Jessie Ware to craft a sparkling, progressive instrumental which helps separate him from the boom-bap, 90s rap lane that Joey has owned of late.
Although the track won’t be on the rapper’s Euro Trip: Continuum EP, due out in Autumn, it’s a solid teaser nonetheless.
