London based producer Enjoyed continues his outstanding progression from 2012’s vocoder laden bubbler ‘Teeth’ with this second cut drawn from Pieces, his debut release on Something In Construction. We premiered the title track from the new EP here on Best Fit last month and ‘Peloton’ follows in a similar vein with more jarring handclaps and sultry electronic loops than most Balearic beach terraces could handle.
A heady blend of euphoric piano chords and rippling steel drum dominates the melody until the Hampshire born whizz decides to slow things up a little around the closing minute. Enjoyed siphons in swirls of Eastern influenced synth samples and a trembling vocal smothered in gloriously dewy effects; setting the wheels in motion for one last surge onto the sweat soaked dancefloor. Anyone with an ounce of rhythm will be powerless to resist.
