Listen: Dralms - "Pillars & Pyre"
Following the sold-out London show last month, the angelically dark Dralms follow up their debut single with their painfully soothing new track, "Pillars & Pyre".
Christopher Smith & Co., AKA Dralms, have undoubtedly slipped smoothly into a silky sound, combining a slow beat with soft, angelic vocals that reach out about powerlessness. The unimaginable depth to this track urges the listener into its turbulent lull that sways softly between heaven and hell, both vocally and lyrically.
The soft instrumentals place a halo over the shadowy, ominous lyrics, and create a contrast so vast yet perfectly balanced. The delicacy is brimming with passion as the middle chorus climaxes effortlessly yet powerfully, further urging the listener to step into the soothing sound of Dralms.
"Pillars & Pyre" will appear on Dralms' digital EP, out 18 May via Full Time Hobby. Stream the track below.
