This new track from Doldrums starts off sparse and sparing, the few odd (and we mean odd) clinkets, coming together and building like the scene from Toy Story where all the evil mutant toys come to life. Or perhaps like that Honda advert.
But then it explodes altogether, like a blackhole of sound with synth bleeps, dial tones and incomprehensible wailings swirling here, there and everywhere.
It’s coming towards the end of the day now and we’re a bit too tired to look at computer screen any longer, so just give it a bleedin’ listen.
