Daughn Gibson is back with ‘The Sound of Law,’ taken from Me Moan, his second LP (and first for Sub Pop) due out on 9 July.

‘The Sound of Law’ drives by tumbling percussion and bluesy guitar licks, yet, Gibson’s vocals are, as usual, the focal point. His subterranean baritone can sell anything: even if the declaration of “I was born along the highway sign,” were literal, you’d still believe him.
