Listen: Dark Bells – Run For Daze [Best Fit Premiere]
Post-punk continues its increasingly assured resurgence thanks to Dark Bells’ latest single coming May 6 through Tape Club Records.
The Aussie three-piece have produced this heady concoction of FX heavy guitars, psychedelic riffs and relentless splashing cymbals, all wonderfully propping-up the killer melody. The vintage-influence is very apparent, but not overly imitative and, the Eastern motifs of the track possess an uncanny knack of transporting you somewhere as warm as the band’s native land. ‘Run For Daze’ with this new track from real retro front-runners below.
Dark Bells play a sold out show on May 1 at London’s Electrowerkz and will also be appearing at Field Day on 25 May.
