The latest single from Buffalo Tide, a member of the exciting BLBX collective, is an unpredictable thing. There is no linear progression of ideas here. Instead, across its two tracks the release repeatedly lulls you into thinking that you’ve ‘got it’, before switching the metallic synths of ‘Mess Hall Malnutrition’ or the fuzzy dub of ‘What We See, What We Become, In The Desert’ for clicky, percussive abstraction.
Huge Chromosome is out now. Listen to BLBX’s previous release, ‘Cities’, here.
