We’re not gonna beat around the bush BASECAMP boys; we ain’t feeling the name, but don’t take it personally because Good Lord do we love ‘Emmanuel’.
Formed of producers Aaron Miller, Aaron C. Harmon and Jordan Reyes, the Nashville-based outfit are testing similar soulful waters to Sampha with broken beats and tremulous bass wobs carrying a luxuriously slick vocal aloft. A four-track EP is in the offing, hopefully all of this super silky RnB calibre; if so we’re totally cool with looking past the slightly iffy moniker.
Kudos to Schoole Of Abuse for the tip.
