Listen: Bam Spacey – Gryning

Swedish producer Bam Spacey’s new single, ‘River‘, signalled a pensive shift away from the markedly more wispy, whimsical constructions found on last year’s Land EP — even the title translates as ‘tearing down’ in his native tongue.

The single’s b-side, ‘Gryning’, is now streaming on the day of its release via Ceremony and provides another indicator that the Malmö artist is guiding his sound towards deeper, more despondently nuanced electro with heartbeat bass thuds sheltered by euphoric synth strains and muted kick drums.
